The article describes the house as an instant flood of peace created by the zen spaces. Owner Dennis Reese andFelice Shulaner describe the house as "There's a feeling of Zen here, it's the next best thing to yoga class."

The house designed by E.J. Seibert FAIA was designed in 1962. Over time the house had become closed-off and somber. Then in 2003 Rees and Felice purchased the home - brought it back to life from its dormant years with the help of Seibert Architects PA, Ball Construction and interior designer Seth Schulaner.
