Everyone wants a beautiful home with all of the things they desire to most in a house. Some people are willing make a longer drive to seemingly get the house of their dreams. But are you really saving money by buying a house farther away? How many people do you know that say "I live in North Port because we were able to buy twice the house there than in Sarasota". Well Harold Bubil of the Sarasota Herald Tribune examines just how much people are saving by making that drive to and from the house of their dreams.
Mr. Bubil has written an article entitled "Driving and Home Affordability" that was in this past Sunday's paper in the real estate section. Please see link below to read this article.

For more information please contact Sarah Tate at 941-383-0117. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for the public.
The Murphy Residence is an extensive renovation project that converted an inward focused courtyard house to a pavilion-like space taking full advantage of the courtyard and adjacent waterway.
The rich palette of materials used answered the owner's desire for a warm sophisticated yet comfortable ambiance. Developing the interior design along with the architecture by incorporating the materials, finishes, detailing and eventually furnishing into the architectural concept gives the home a unified and cohesive feel.
